“ This place is amazing! Trey has the food properly dialed in, and the service is great. The flavors are incredible, not too spicy or salty. But you always get extra sauces, so you can spice it up as desired or go for the garlic. The plates come with a cabbage slaw that's lightly dressed with lime juice, and it's a perfect balance for the more flavorful meats. The portions are great, combined with the quality there's no question that you get your money's worth. The food comes in aluminum trays so it's easy to take it to go or to eat in. I've had the chicken and salmon so far, and I'm excited to come back and try everything else! And to have more of the spiked watermelon-hibiscus-passionfruit punch lol. ”

The flavors were remarkable ! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Something about a place to hold your bag while at the bar was also pretty nice and convenient place for tourist or any sort of bag. ”

The greens were phenomenal and with no meat, he smokes the greens in-house, vegan. I never thought I would like vegan greens. I am definitely coming back for more. ”

I have had more flavorful island food, but my food was definitely NOT dry. The young man who served us was very attentive and even helped guide us to the restaurant after calling several times because we didn't know about Seattle's horrendously outrageous parking costs. I would recommend trying this restaurant and then stroll by Arte Noir, the cute artistic shop on the corner for some artisan candles and lotions. That would make a nice little complete afternoon. ”
